JUICING RECIPES AND TIPS FOR BEGINNERS

Many of us are committed to eating healthier, but sometimes it can be difficult to know where to begin. Juicing is one nutrition trend that I love. Juicing can be easy for beginners, so don’t worry! Keep reading to find my top tips and juicing recipe suggestions.

In the last ten years, juicing has been very popular. Many places now offer juice, including cafes and bars in your local area.

1. Why Juicing is Good for Your Health

As a certified personal trainer, I often ask about the best fasts and cleans to lose weight. However, my approach to nutrition is straightforward: I eat only from plants, trees, and animals at all meals. For me, fruits and vegetables are non-negotiable. As much as possible, I avoid processed and pre-prepared foods. Because I believe your body will take care if you eat right, I avoid quick-fix detoxes, and radical cleanses offered by companies looking to make a quick buck.

I do not recommend juicing or advocate fasts or juice cleanses that eliminate whole food. Drinking fresh juice with healthy small meals is a great way to get your daily recommended intake of fruits and veggies. Juicing is a quick way to boost your energy and provide nutrients for your body. It tastes delicious!

Juicing is delicious. You may even find yourself obsessed with it! This quick guide is for beginners to juicing. It includes my top juicing tips and recipes.

2. How many cups of juice should you consume per day?

These easy juicing tips might tempt you to start juicing more often. Juicing can be a wonderful daily habit, but doing too much is unnecessary. Juicing should not be used in place of eating a meal. Although healthy, Juice does not contain all the nutrition you need to make a complete meal. Juicing guidelines recommend drinking 8 to 16 ounces of juice daily. Listen to your body and hunger cues to determine your best choice.

3. Is Juicing For Weight Loss A Good Idea?

Juicing is not a weight loss strategy. Adding a glass of freshly squeezed juice to your daily routine is a great way to boost your body’s nutritional intake. A glass of juice per day is not about losing weight. It’s about nutritional supplementation.

Juice cleansing is where juice is only consumed for a few days. This can be dangerous. Juice cleanses typically limit you to 600-1000 calories per day, which is considered very restrictive. You could also be missing certain nutrients depending on how much you juice cleanse.

The documentary Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead is a must-see. It’s eye-opening and very interesting. Juicing is a good option for a healthy diet. A doctor guided juicing Joe throughout the film. I strongly believe in juicing, but it’s not an easy way to lose weight.

This guide to juicing beginners is only a starting point. We recommend that you have fun! Fresh juice, more energy and better health:

4. Beginner Juicing Tips

  • Read Your Manual
  • I don’t like reading directions and prefer to figure out appliances myself. I can assure you that the manual should be read. My juicer has a high and low setting so I can adjust the juice for different vegetables. The manual also lists which veggies should be juiced and at what speed to get them juiced for best results. You should also ensure that all pieces fit properly if you have a large daddy juicer, like mine.
  • Balance fruit with vegetables
  • Juicing should be done according to the 80/20 rule. Think 80% vegetables and 20% fruits for most juices to keep your sugar content low. Also, remove any inedible skins (such as citrus peels and mango skin), large seeds or pits, and wash all your produce thoroughly.
  • Drink Straight Away
  • Juicing is about enjoying fresh juice immediately. Juice will lose nutrients as it ages, so drink your juice immediately. You can make more juice or keep it for later use. To store it, fill it up with water and seal it. It is important to keep it refrigerated immediately. Fresh juice can be kept for up to 24 hours. I prefer to consume mine within 12 hours. My juice is usually consumed for breakfast, or as an after-dinner snack. Juice on an empty stomach is the best because nutrients are absorbed immediately and don’t need to be mixed with other food you try to digest.
  • Have fun!
  • I’ve tried many juice recipes, then created my own variations based on my taste. Get your family and friends involved in trying new fruits and veggies. Do not be afraid to try new recipes. You never know! Perhaps beets and broccoli will become the next big thing.
